  • We got tired of seeing the taco treated as a trend instead of what it truly is: our tradition. We’re sick of authentic flavors being confined to shitty street corners or gimmicky "Coco" decor. México is so much more than that, and the world needs to know. Not just taste it, but understand it. We want to reclaim the taco for the Mexicans, not for some heartless chain who decorates his hardshell tacos with papel picado, but for those who truly get it, who grew up on the streets of Mexico.

Building on traditional food and reinventing it with new flavors, we’ve created a brand that’s about so much more than just tacos. It's about showing the world what Mexicans can be. We chose the Chicago because it’s a branch of México, a place where people crave this food every day and where the best chefs in the world compete to impress the toughest critics. We believe we can do both: honor our roots and win all those fancy cuisine titles.
